We, the family of the late Barry O'Connor, wish to express our sincere appreciation for the kindness and support shown to us during our recent bereavement.
We are extremely grateful to all who called to the wake and attended the Funeral Mass, sent Mass Cards, prayers and online condolences. Many thanks also to those who brought food and those who served tea and refreshments during the wake.
Special thanks to Fr. Stephen Duffy for being with us and for the beautiful Requiem Mass and fitting Homily that captured Barry so well. Thanks also to Cathy Evans and Karolina Kiecka for the beautiful music.
To Castleblayney Faughs and Fianna Fail for Gaurds of Honour and to all who helped us ensure Barry got such a lovely send off.
To Conor Hughes, Funeral Director and his staff, Paul and Darren for their professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the Funeral arrangements. To Dignams Bar for hosting and providing the beautiful food after Barry's Funeral. We are extremely grateful.
We are also eternally grateful to all those who assisted us to care for Barry during his short illness. A special word of thanks to Dr Mary Flanagan and her team, Denise Shipley and the Palliative and Community care teams. Your attentiveness, support and warmth will be forever remembered.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation to all.
Barry's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 31st August at 11.30am in St. Mary's Church, Castleblayney.
