The family of the late Bernie English wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming love, support & respect shown to them at the time of Bernie’s sad passing.

Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home & to all those who attended the service in celebration of Bernie’s life & her cremation service, be it in person or via live-stream.

Thank you to those who sent Mass cards, to those who phoned, wrote or text with messages of condolence & those who shared such fond memories & beautiful thoughts online.  

Heartfelt thanks to Bernie’s wonderful neighbours in Abbeyville, most especially Mary, May & Nellie - lifelong friends who greeted her every day & received a warm greeting in return.

Special thanks to Fr David Brough for his comforting prayers & lovely committal service as Bernie was reunited with her beloved parents.

Thanks also to the staff of Mount Jerome Crematorium, to Joe O’Toole for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
