Ballinagh, Cavan

King Bernard (Benny) Carrickaclevan, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan Benny’s partner Jenny together with his family wish to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all those who sympathised and supported us during our recent sad loss. To those who attended his home, funeral home and funeral Mass, sent Mass cards, letters, online messages, telephoned and other expressions of sympathy they have been a great comfort to us.

Thank you to those who travelled long distances to be with us also. Thank you to those who served refreshments and looked after us during that time. To the many relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us at this sad time, we extend our heartfelt thanks. Sincere thanks to the paramedics who attended to Benny and the staff of the ICU ward in Cavan General Hospital who cared for Benny in his final days.

Thanks to Lacken GFC, Benny’s work colleagues and neighbours for providing guards of honour for Benny. To all who contributed to celebrating Benny’s funeral Mass especially Fr Sean McDermott and Fr Kevin Fay. Thank you to Hazel for the beautiful flowers and Danny Brady for the wonderful tribute to Benny in the Anglo Celt. Thank you to Mary, James, Dominic, Mary and Eileen for the beautiful music in the church. Finally a sincere thanks to Cronin and Finnegan Funeral Directors for their professional and respectful manner in carrying out the funeral arrangements.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.

Benny's month's memory Mass will take place in St. Michael's Church, Potahee on Saturday, 17th August, at 11am
