The family of the late Bernard Ward, who died on 21st May 2024, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who attended the funeral, sent cards and messages of condolences on RIP.ie, as well as those who made charitable donations to Merchant’s Quay Ireland. Thank you to Father Andrew and the choir of St Bartholomew’s for giving Bernard a wonderful send off, and to Fanagan’s Funeral home for their kind help and professionalism.

A special word of thanks to Dr Sarah Coveney, the nurses and staff of the Burkitt Ward - Tallaght Hospital, the staff of Orwell Nursing Home, and the team at St James’ Hospital who cared for Bernard in his final hours.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
