Bernie’s partner Greg, her daughter Ciara, her brothers, sisters and all her family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to all those who offered kindness, comfort and support throughout Bernie’s funeral and during the time since.
Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, those who attended Bernie’s removal, funeral service and cremation, to all those who sent cards, letters and texts and those who shared kind condolences and happy memories online. Thank you also to those who travelled long distances and to those who couldn’t be present but joined Bernie’s services on webcam. Our immense gratitude to all those who donated so generously to Arklow Lifeboat in honour of Bernie’s memory;
Our heartfelt thanks to Dr Bentley, Dr Devereux and the team at Bradshaw’s Lane Surgery, to the wonderful doctors and nurses of St. Vincent’s Hospital and to the kind and helpful staff of First Choice Pharmacy for their kindness and assistance over the years.
A very special thank you to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his prayers, friendship and kindness, to Michael Flood and Bridget Kenny for such lovely music and to Niamh O’Connor who performed so beautifully in Mount Jerome – you made the service so special.
To our own extended families, our colleagues, neighbours and friends, we thank you for your continued support.
Thank you to Declan Kenny and his staff at Arklow Golf Club, to all at Mount Jerome Crematorium and to John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
