As we lovingly remember Billy on his first anniversary, his wife Teresa, daughter Máire & sons Pádraig, Seán & Liam, together with our families, would like to extend our thanks to all who sympathised with us on our sad loss.  Thank you for the many Mass cards, flowers, warm condolences on RIP.ie, and for the abundance of food delivered to us.  Thank you to our close neighbours, whose care and kindness on that fateful morning meant so much to us all.  Thank you to the members of Douglas GAA Club, Douglas Writers’ Group & Douglas Young at Heart, and to the many people who lined the route of the funeral cortege.  Special thanks to Ronnie McGinn for his oration at the graveside and to the Hayden family for the beautiful music at the Mass. Thank you to Sullivan’s Funeral Home for their professionalism throughout.  We thank most sincerely the staff of CUH Cardiology Unit, especially Peter Kelly & his nurse Annette O’Connell.  Special thanks to Dr. Paddy Hayes and his staff at the Fingerpost surgery for your care and kindness throughout the years, and to the staff of O’Sullivan’s Pharmacy, Douglas Road.  We cannot forget Billy’s good friend, the late Fr. George O’Mahony RIP, for his beautiful Mass & personal homily.  Sadly he passed away shortly after Billy.
