Acknowledgment and First Anniversary
We, the family of the late and much loved Brendan Lawlor, his wife Noeleen, daughter Louise, sons Barry and John, grandchildren Sarah, Scott, Daniel, Brooke, son-in-law Shane and daughter-in-law Sarah, his brothers and sister Catherine would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude for the care and support we received from all those who sympathised with us in our recent heart-breaking loss. The phone calls, text messages, Mass cards, letters, food and condolences on RIP.ie have been a source of great comfort to us.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who attended the visitation and funeral Mass. We were particularly touched by those who travelled from Dublin, Kildare, Longford, Wexford, Italy and London to show their support. Your presence meant the world to us all.
We would like to thank the Accident and Emergency Department of the Mercy University Hospital and the Garda Siochana for their help and assistance on the night of Brendan's passing. A special thank you to Father Kamil for celebrating a beautiful Mass and to Brendan's sister-in-law, Helen, for organising the readings and hymns.
We also want to express our appreciation to Crowley's Funeral Directors and the Island Crematorium Ltd for their exceptional care and professionalism in handling all the arrangements. Their attention to detail ensured that Brendan received the dignified send-off he deserved.
We would like to acknowledge the hospitality of the Oriel House Hotel and extend our gratitude to Brendan's work colleagues at Long Insulations and GB Services, as well as the staff of Balincollig Coaches, O'Leary Insurance, Oxford Consulting and MSC Missions. Your support during this time has been invaluable.
It is not possible to thank everyone individually. However, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Thank you once again for your kindness and support.
Brendan’s First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 23rd November at 6pm in St Mary & St John’s Church, Ballincollig.
There comes a time for all of us
when we must say goodbye,
but memories of those we love
live on and never die.
It was a sudden passing
To bitter to forget
Those who love you dearly
Are the ones who can't forget.
