Formerly Ballyfermot Road and Elmdale, Ballyfermot, Dublin

Brendan’s loving wife Bridget and his family would like to acknowledge the overwhelming kindness and support offered by people throughout this difficult time. We would like to offer a special thank you to the first responders, the staff in St.James’, Stafford’s, Newlands Cross and Downey’s for your kindness and professionalism. Thank you to our families, extended families, friends, neighbours and colleagues for the kind words, thoughtfulness and support provided during this time. Thank you to everyone that attended the hospital, house and funeral service. Thank you for the flowers, balloons, food, music and cards. Thank you for the calls, messages, visits and especially the lovely memories you shared. We are devastated that the one person who could have made this bearable is the one person who is no longer here. We know our hearts will never truly be mended but we have been reminded of just how lucky we are. We are lucky to be surrounded by so many wonderful people who went above and beyond to let us know that he was loved and that we are loved. But most importantly we know how lucky we are to have had him in our lives. When you have someone who is so funny and kind and loving in your life you can never have enough time with them. Forever would have been too short and we would have still wanted more. He will never be forgotten; we will carry him in our hearts and our memories. How lucky were we to have known him, to have loved him and to have been loved by him.  Wherever you are, we hope the craic is mighty, the beer is cold, and the music plays on. We love you and miss you…
