The family of the late Bridget (Bridie) Connolly who died on the 4th September 2021, wish to thank all who sympathised and supported us during our mother's bereavement. To our relatives, friends and neighbours for their kindness, those who posted condolences online, sent Mass cards and floral tributes and for providing food and to those who donated to St John of Gods, Oakhill, Ardee, a huge thank you. A special thank you to the staff in Newgrange 2 OLOL Drogheda for their outstanding care and support to our mother and the family during her final days. Thank you to those who came to the house and lined the route to the church to pay their respects and also joined us for the funeral Mass and via the webcam. Our sincere thanks to Fr Shane Mc Caughey for celebrating the lovely personal Mass, and to Barry Jay Hughes and Liebe Kelly for the beautiful music.
Thanks also to Fr Stephen Duffy who officiated at the graveside in Castleblayney and to all involved in preparing Bridget's final resting place.
Our grateful appreciation to Lonergan Funeral Directors, Cathriona and Padraig for looking after all the arrangements, for their professionalism and attention to detail, their sensitivity and guiding us throughout this most difficult time.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token for our gratitude and appreciation.
Bridget's memorial Mass will be celebrated in St Joseph's Church Carrickmacross on Saturday, 16th October, at 11am. All welcome!
We hold you close within our hearts,
And there you shall remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives,
Until we meet again.
So rest in peace dear loved one
and thanks for all you've done.
We pray that God has given you,
The crown you've truly won.
