First Anniversary and Acknowledgement
Bridget Lynch, Ullanes East, Ballymakeera, Co. Cork,
who died 9th January 2020.
On Bridget’s first anniversary, her daughter Margaret, sons Jack & Diarmuid and extended family would like to express our deepest appreciation to all those who sympathised with us, attended the rosary, removal, Requiem Mass, and the burial. To those who phoned, sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy and messages of support. To our exceptional relatives, neighbours and friends, your support , kindness, and assistance was truly appreciated. To those who travelled to sympathise with us but also to sympathise with Bridget’s brothers, sisters, and in-laws. We are truly grateful and were deeply moved.
We were fortune to have our uncle, Bridget’s brother, Fr Mick Corkery to concelebrate the funeral Mass, making it so personal and meaningful. We appreciated his guidance and prayers during Mam’s final week and over the days of the funeral. Thanks also to Fr Donal O’Brien and to the other clergy that travelled to attend the prayers and concelebrate the funeral Mass.
Our sincere thanks to the organist Aileen Flanagan, the choir, to Nora & Paddy O’Riordan, our sacristans, to McCarthy Undertakers for their professionalism and kindness, to the grave diggers and to The Abbey Hotel & their exceptional staff. We are truly grateful to you all.
We wish to thank Dr John Burke, Macroom for his many years caring for Bridget.
Our very special thanks to the staff of Macroom Community Hospital for the wonderful care and dignity shown to our mother during the years she spent with them. We could not have wished for better care.
As it is impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
St Gobnait pray for her.
