Bridget Waldron

 Bridget Waldron
(née Cullen)

Arklow, Wicklow

Bridget’s husband David, her children D.J., Zack and Harley and all her family would like to express our most heartfelt thanks for the incredible support we received throughout the past two years, at the time of Bridget’s passing and during the weeks since.

Thank you to everyone who called to pay their respects and to all those who attended the celebration of Bridget’s life and her committal service, either in person or via webcam.

Thank you to those who sent cards, letters or texts, to those who phoned or shared thoughtful condolences & happy memories online and to those who donated generously to the Arklow Cancer Support Group or to Wicklow Hospice in Bridget’s memory;

Sincerest thanks to Prof. Ray McDermott and Prof. Hugh Mulcahy, the Palliative Care Team, to Gilbert Medrano and to all the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Anne’s Ward in St. Vincent’s Hospital for their heroic efforts throughout Bridget’s illness.

Thank you also to the Arklow Cancer Support Group and to the wonderful staff of Wicklow Hospice for the comfort and dignity they brought to Bridget’s final days. Thank you also to the kind and helpful staff of Ferrybank CarePlus Pharmacy.

Special thanks to family and friends who took part in the celebration of Bridget’s life and to her cousin Michael Flood for his beautiful singing.

To our extended families, our neighbours, our customers and our colleagues, we will never forget your kindness and compassion. To our dear friends, words cannot express our gratitude for all you have done and for all you continue to do for us throughout this incredibly difficult time.

Thanks also to the management and staff of The Old Ship for their hospitality, to the team at Mount Jerome Crematorium & to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Bridget’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 9th August at 6.30pm in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church.

Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the parish webcam:
