Bridie (Mary Bridget) Harte

 Bridie (Mary Bridget) Harte
(née Feeney)

Drumcliffe, Sligo / Newtowncashel, Longford

Bridie’s children Mary, Patrick and Francis, together with their extended family, wish to extend a huge thank you to each and every person who offered sympathy and support to them in their recent sad bereavement. To our friends, neighbours and work colleagues, we appreciate your kindness and support throughout. Thank you to everyone who visited the Funeral Home, attended Bridie’s Removal, Funeral Mass and burial, either in person or via webcam, those who sent cards, letters, texts and those who phoned, sharing warm wishes and treasured memories.

A special work of thanks to the nurses and staff of Thomond Lodge Nursing Home, Ballymahon for all they did for Bridie in her final weeks, and to the HSE Homecare Staff, especially Pauline, for her care, and support in the two previous years; and to Dr Colm Farrell and all at Lanesboro Health Centre for their care in the past few years. Our thanks to Canon Tom Hever, for celebrating a beautifully fitting Funeral Mass and to Fr. Merlyn Kenny for concelebrating and for his pastoral care of Bridie in her final years; and to Siobhan Casey for the beautiful music and song, which enhanced the Mass, and to the sacristan Pat Watters, for all his help. To those who dug the grave, and to Shelia Watters, who prepared Bridie’s final resting place, a special work of thanks.

Thanks to Currid’s Bar, Rathcormac for their hospitality. Finally, to Seán, Susan, Brendan and Francis and the team at Seán Feehily’s Funeral Services, Cartron Cross, Sligo, we appreciate the professional services and the way you all took care of us and the arrangements. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, August 24th at 10:30am in Saint Colmcille’s Church, Rathcormac, Co. Sligo.
