The family of the late Brigid (Bridie) Connolly of Tirellan Heights, Galway who died on 30th August would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.
As the beloved wife of Paddy and much loved mother of Niall and Paul; Bridie will be very sadly missed by her husband and sons, daughter-in-law, brothers, sisters, extended Connolly and Nally families, neighbours and friends.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the service in person and online, providing solace at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful.
A special word of thanks to Prof Maccon Keane and the team of doctors, nurses and staff of GUH and the Galway Clinic for the care they offered Bridie over the years; Fr O’Brien and Noreena for a wonderful funeral mass; Galway Hibernians and all those involved in a guard of honour at the house and church; O’Flaherty funeral directors and the staff of Rahoon cemetary for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Bridie was a remarkable woman, full of life, generosity, humour and fun. She will be so badly missed and loved by us all.
The Month’s Mind Mass for Bridie will be held on 27th September at 12 noon in St Mary’s Church Claddagh.
