Acknowledgement and First Anniversary
As we remember a beloved husband and father - Bryan, on this his First Anniversary, his heartbroken wife Sheila, loving family; Colleen, Alan, son in law Sameer, adored grandchildren Nazar and Amani, along with the extended Rooney family, wish to express our deepest appreciation to all who sympathised with us, especially those who travelled long and short distances to attend Bryan’s removal and funeral, sent floral tributes, Mass cards, perpetual Enrollments, letters, online condolence messages, telephone calls and memorial gifts - we were profoundly touched by your thoughtfulness and compassion.
Our sincere gratitude to those who called to our home, our wonderful neighbours, relatives, friends and work colleagues for their support and kindness at this most difficult of times.
We thank all who participated in Bryan’s beautiful Requiem Mass in particular Fr. Robert Brophy, talented musicians - Karl Rooney, Dr Trish Rooney and Sebastien Schneider, the pall-bearers, relatives and friends who performed readings and poetry during the service, the Sacristan and Mr Gerard McCarthy, Chetwynd.
We extend a special honorary mention to the following individuals, whose remarkable efforts sustained us during our time of immense sorrow; Capt Sameer Yousef, Mary Gilmartin, Annette O’Brien, Niall Cotter, Mary Rooney, Louise O’Donoghue, Mike Hanrahan and Carol Hunter.
Special thanks to all at Jerh O’Connor & Sons Funeral Directors (Wilton) for their empathy, guidance and professionalism, in particular Mr Michael Desmond. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr David Curran (Consultant) and his team, and the dedicated staff at Mercy Hospital, who provided excellent care to Bryan during his brief illness. RIP
The holy sacrament of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
“Always on our minds forever in our hearts, until we meet again.”
