Acknowledgement

The family of Cáit Quinn wish to thank most sincerely everyone who expressed their sympathy and support to us at the time of our recent bereavement. Your kind messages, cards, calls, and presence brought great consolation to us all during this very difficult time.

We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to Conor Hughes, Funeral Director, and Darren Treanor, for their professionalism, time, patience, and compassion shown to us as a family in organising Cáit’s funeral. Their guidance and care were deeply appreciated.

Our sincere thanks to Sinéad Coleman McGuigan for her care, professionalism, and sensitivity shown to the family at this time

Our sincere thanks to Dr Michael Clarke, Dr Mary O’Duffy, and all the staff of Market Square Surgery for their care and support. We also thank Ciaran Conway and the staff of The Corner Pharmacy, Castleblayney, for their kindness and assistance throughout this time. We also wish to thank Nurse Jackie Duggan and Martina Duffy for their support.

We would like to acknowledge the nurses and staff of St. Mary’s Hospital for providing respite care, and the doctors, nurses, and staff of Level 3, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, for their exceptional care during Cáit’s short stay.

A very special word of thanks to the wonderful carers; Naomi Hutchinson, Sinéad Murphy, Caroline Mooney, Carmel McShane Oliver, Ann Brennan, and Geraldine McMuldoon, who supported and cared for Cáit with such dedication and compassion in her home. We also wish to thank Geraldine Gorman (OT) for all her assistance and support.

We are deeply grateful to Bishop Larry Duffy and Fr Mawn for taking the time to pray with the family at Cáit’s home, offering comfort and spiritual support.

Thank you to Fr Stephen Duffy for his words of comfort to the family and for the moving and meaningful ceremony. Thank you to Tom Coyle for his assistance at Cáit’s funeral.

We are especially grateful to Castleblayney Golf Course for their touching Guard of Honour, despite the terrible weather, and to the Garda Traffic Control for their dignified presence and support on the day of the funeral

Thank you to our cousin Eamonn Curran for playing the uilleann pipes & to Bríd McCabe for her beautiful singing, especially her rendition of Lovely Leitrim, which provided a fitting send-off.

Our thanks also to Michael Smyth and the staff of The View Restaurant, Concra Woods, for attending to all who gathered for the meal after the funeral.

Thank you to our fantastic neighbours, friends, and all those who travelled from afar to pay their respects.

Your kindness gave us the strength needed to get us through the most difficult of days.
