The family of the late Carmel Flatman, who died on the 1st Aug 2021, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our loss through the many perpetual enrolment cards, Mass cards, sympathy cards, condolence messages and floral tributes.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many caring neighbours, friends, extended family who shared their life’s journey with Carmel and with our family in many and varied ways.
A special word of thanks to Monsignor Dan O’Connor, for the prayerful and insightful Celebration of Carmel’s religious and secular life and funeral Mass, together with concelebrants Fr. John Bracken parish priest and Fr. John McNamara. Much appreciation also goes to her many friends with whom she shared a prayer group, Divine Mercy group, Young Priests Society, ministers of the eucharist and those with whom she visited Knock Shrine and The Little House of Prayer.
Special thanks also go to Dr. Ashcroft Jones for the care and respect given to Carmel in her latter years, especially during the pandemic and to the staff of the Ballinteer Health Clinic, St. James Hospital, Ryevale Nursing Home and Connelly Memorial Hospital, all of whom provided support care for Carmel.
To those who helped in any way to support Carmel and her family, too many to mention by name, you know who you are, we thank you and appreciate each and every one of you.
