Carmel’s daughters Teresa & Ann & our families, along with the family of our beloved sister Mary, would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the many expressions of sympathy & support we received throughout our recent sad loss.
Thank you to all those who visited the funeral home to pay their respects, those who attended Carmel’s funeral service, in person or via live-stream, those who shared happy memories & kind messages online & those who donated generously to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland www.alzheimer.ie in Carmel’s memory.
Thank you to all in Maryville Surgery, the staff of Adrian Dunne Pharmacy, to Pauraceen & the team of carers who assisted Carmel throughout her final years at home & the exceptional staff of Oakfield Nursing Home who brought her such dignity & comfort throughout the past year.
Thank you to Fr. David Brough for celebrating Carmel’s life so beautifully & to Deacon John O’Neill for his graveside prayers.
To our extended families, colleagues, neighbours & friends, old & new, your continued kindness & support will never be forgotten.
Thanks also to the management & staff of Deansgrange Cemetery for their assistance,
the management & staff of The Grange for their hospitality after the funeral & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Carmel’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 18th June at 11.30am in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam.
