First Anniversary

In loving memory of my beautiful Mam Carol, whose first anniversary occurs on 31st May 2023.

Deeply loved, sadly missed and always remembered by her children, Caroline, Tanya, Stephen, Mark & Danielle, their partners and their father Liam, grandchildren, sister, brothers, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

When God was making Mothers, as far as I can see, he made a special lady, especially for me. He made a perfect Mother, compassionate and kind, with more love and affection, than you could ever wish to find. He gave my beautiful Mother, a heart of solid gold, she gave me wonderful memories only my heart can hold. She was someone I could talk to that no one can replace, she loved me unconditionally, guiding me each day. Next time we meet, it will be at heavens door, when I see you standing there, I won’t cry anymore. I'll put my arms around you and kiss your smiling face. Then the pieces of my broken heart will fall back into place.

If I could have a wish come true, a dream that'd come to pass, I'd ask to spend a day with you and pray that it would last. I'd run to you and hold you close, not wanting to let go, you'd smile and tell me see you soon and somehow I would know. That while it's very hard to wait, one day the time will come, I'll join you there forevermore when I too am called home. My wish may go ungranted, but it will always be true....

I'd trade all of my tomorrow's, for one yesterday with you.
