The family of the late Cathal Quinn, Corrintra, Castleblayney,
who passed away peacefully
on the 15th of January 2026,
surrounded by his loving family,
wish to express our heartfelt thanks
to all who supported and comforted us
during our recent loss.
We offer our sincere thanks
to everyone who showed such kindness and sympathy
through calls, messages, cards,
and other expressions of support.
Our special thanks go to the doctors, nurses,
and care staff of Cavan General Hospital
for the exceptional care given to Cathal.
We are especially grateful to the ICU
and Surgical and Nursing teams
for their professionalism, compassion, and dedication,
and to all who ensured his final hours
were as comfortable as possible
while keeping family included and supported.
We also wish to thank
the members of the clergy
in Cavan General Hospital
who were part of Cathal’s care
and provided spiritual comfort
during this time.
We offer our sincere gratitude
to Padraig Ward, Funeral Director,
for his professional guidance, compassion,
and support throughout this difficult time.
We also thank the gravedigger
for the care, attention to detail,
and discretion shown.
Our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Connolly,
who officiated the Funeral Mass
with warmth, personal stories,
and a special, thoughtful touch.
We also thank all who participated
in the funeral service,
those who travelled long distances to be with us,
and those who joined us online.
Everyone’s kindness will always be remembered
and deeply appreciated.
As it would be impossible
to thank everyone individually,
please accept this acknowledgement
as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Months Mind Mass will be celebrated
on Sunday 15th February
in St. Patrick's Oram at 10.00am.
