Christina (Chris/Ina) Ryan (née O’Brien)

Knockanore, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny

The family of the late Christina (Chris/Ina) Ryan who died on the 28th June, 2020, wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.

We would like to thank all those who visited the house, attended the service and/or the burial.  Thanks also to those who sent food, flowers, cards, emails and condolences on RIP.ie. We appreciate the thoughts and prayers of all those who contacted us to offer support at this difficult time.

A special thank you is owed to Dr Brennan, who looked after Mam for many years. His daily visits at the end provided us with practical support and confidence. We also thank Ann & Helen, her care team, who made it possible for us to look after Mam at home. Fr Liam Cassin’s visits brought Mam much comfort and the family appreciate his help in organising her funeral service.

Thanks to the very professional services of Meyler & Son Funeral Directors, Mam’s funeral was arranged as she wanted it. With the co-operation of Fr Cassin, they organised a live stream of the funeral and burial which allowed those who could not attend to feel part of the occasion.

We would like to express our gratitude to the many people who provided help and assistance at this time when so many of the normal routines are disrupted. Please be in no doubt that the acts of kindness were noticed and appreciated.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
