Christy is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Angela sons Tony, Christopher, Michael, daughters Jacqueline and Shirley, his sister Mary, his brother Tony and their families who wish to express deep gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss.

Thank you to those who paid their respects and attended Christy's Funeral Mass and burial as well as those who sent kind messages of condolence, Mass cards, flowers and donations. Our heartfelt thanks to those who travelled long distances to attend the funeral.

A heartfelt word of thanks to Bishop John Buckley, Sacristan Colette and the late Canon Michael Murphy for their comforting prayers and beautiful Funeral Mass and to Dan Twomey for his beautiful singing at the Funeral Mass.

A special appreciation to Aidan for all the friendship he gave to Christy over his last years and to Wembley FC who gave Christy a great honour.  A special thank you to our general practitioner Dr. Colm Gleeson and all his staff for all their help throughout the years. Thank you to Donal and Carmel Forde and all their staff for their professionalism and guidance.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation and gratitude. The holy sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions. 

To the world you may be one person; but to us you were the world.
