Christy McNulty,
Kilcloon, Co Meath & formerly Aughnasheelin, Co Leitrim.
Died 12th February 2020
On the first anniversary of Christy’s death, his family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to those who were a huge source of support and comfort following Christy’s sudden death.
To our friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways at our home around the time of Christy’s wake and funeral, those who provided all the lovely food, provided the marquee and those who managed the parking at home and at the church. To the medical staff of both Connolly and Mater hospitals who cared for Christy in his final days. We gratefully appreciate the support received from those who travelled long distances, especially from abroad, those who called to our home, shared so many memories of Christy, attended his funeral Mass, sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy and messages of condolence.
We wish to thank Fr Stan Deegan for celebrating Christy’s funeral Mass and for his prayers and support in the hospital and at home, also David Brophy for serving at Mass. A special word of thanks to Christy’s nieces Paula, Fiona, Sheila, Grace and Mary and his nephew Shane, for their beautiful music and singing during the Mass.
We would like to thank Blackhall Gaels GAA Club, Kilcloon Men’s shed and Aughnasheelin GAA Club for their tribute to Christy in the form of a guard of honour at his funeral. To Blackhall Gaels GAA Club for facilitating the meal in their clubhouse in Batterstown after the funeral.
To the undertakers Willie and Mark Ryan for their professionalism and guidance.
As it would not be possible to thank so many people individually we hope you will accept this acknowledgement of our deep gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
