Claire's daughters Rebecca (Samuels), Gemma and Gillian, son in law David, Chris, grandchildren Clara and Will, sisters Gemma (FitzHenry), Patricia (Shackleton) and brothers Donagh and Joe Hickey, brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews and the Nolan family of Claire’s late husband Willie, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us in our recent, sad loss. Our sincere thanks and appreciation go to our wonderful neighbours, friends and extended family. Thank you to those who visited, stood outside her home and walked her to the top of Cahernashilleeney, to those who stood on the road-sides and outside the church for her final journey. Thank you to those who attended Claire's funeral Mass and to those who could not attend but watched the funeral online. Thank you to those who sent messages of condolence, cards, flowers and offered words of support and sympathy. Our sincere appreciation to the staff on St. Anne's Ward, UCHG, to Dr. Paddy McDonagh and Dr. Orna McCarthy and to Claire's palliative home care nurse Helen for the excellent care they gave Claire. To Fr. John O'Gorman for celebrating Claire's funeral Mass and for his prayers and words of comfort and support during her final days. Thank you to Kearney Funeral Directors for their respectful attention to Claire's funeral arrangements. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation for your kindness and generosity, which will not be forgotten. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
Month's mind Mass will be held in Our Lady of Knock Church on Saturday 26th June at 11.00am.
