 Darren BRENNAN

Rathneety, Knockbridge, Louth

Darren Brennan, late of Rathneety, Knockbridge, Dundalk, who died on 5th November 2020.

Darren’s parents, Noel and Irene, his sisters Marie and Ciara along with Emmett and Shane, wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and expressions of kindness shown to us during the past weeks and months.

We offer our sincere and heartfelt thanks to our extended family, neighbours, friends and well wishers who provided practical and emotional support for us during this very traumatic and difficult time. To those who sent messages of sympathy and support, condolences online, cards, letters and floral tributes, we are truly grateful.  We also acknowledge and greatly appreciate the support shown by the many people who were present on the way to the church on the morning of Darren’s funeral.

Thanks also to the Garda Síochána, Ardee, and the ambulance service for their help and support.

To all those who participated in the Mass, readers, those who participated in the offertory procession, musicians Adele Commins, Lorraine Quigley and Padraic Mc Ginn and especially Fr. Gerry Campbell, PP, for his beautiful, inspiring and insightful Mass. Thanks also to Conor Conway for his beautiful rendition of 'The Green Fields of America' at the graveside. To Rosemary and all at Mc Geough’s Undertakers, we thank you for your sensitive and professional handling of arrangements.

To those who assisted in any way, your contribution was greatly appreciated.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our gratitude and appreciation to you all.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
