We, the family of the late David Concannon, of Bridge Street, Headford, Co. Galway who passed away on the 23rd December 2025 would like to thank all those who sympathised and supported us on our sad loss. 

A sincere thank you to all who attended the removal, requiem Mass and burial, and to those who travelled long distances to be with us.

Thank you to those who sent flowers, Mass cards, and messages of condolences and in particular the presence and thoughtfulness of the Bridge Street community as David made his journey to his final resting place. 

Thank you to the doctors and nurses of the Dialysis Unit at Merlin Park Hospital and the Endocrinology Dept. of University Hospital Galway. A thank you also to the drivers who brought David to his dialysis appointments every week. Thank you to the public health nurses in Headford Health Centre, and in particular Tracey. 

A sincere thank you to Fr. Ray Flaherty for the lovely funeral mass and for his warm and personal touch; to sacristan Declan; to Matt Keane for the beautiful music; and to James Carey Undertaker for his professionalism and support in arranging the funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

The Months Mind Mass for David will be held on Sunday 25th January 2026 at 11:30am in St. Mary's Church, Headford. All welcome.
