Acknowledgement and First Anniversary
Sunrise 10/9/42
Sunset 29/6/24
In loving memory of Barry Kenny, adored Husband, Father, and Grandpa. We, his family, wish to thank most sincerely all those who travelled, from near and far, to attend the removal and funeral mass. Thanks also to those who sent mass cards, floral tributes, texted and phoned. We are so grateful for our family and friends, and our kind neighbours, for all their love and continued support to us in our sad loss.
Thank you to his GP, Dr Michael Murphy, and Elizabeth O’Donovan, his consultant Professor Des Murphy, Derry and the team at O’Donovan’s Chemist in Ballyphehane, and all the staff at CUH and Marymount Hospice who looked after Barry with unlimited dignity and respect. Thanks also to Kevin O’Connor and all at O’Connor’s Funeral home, Wilton for their professionalism.
A sincere thank you to Fr Greg who officiated at Barry’s mass, assisted by Fr Dave McAuliffe and Fr Richie (St Augustin’s), and Fr John Walsh, and to the beautiful singers and musicians, Damian Smith, Alan Carney, Brian Hyland, and Ryan Morgan, who made the mass so personal and special. Thank you too to Brian and his team at the Island Crematorium, and to celebrant, Clair O’Reilly, who uplifted us all on such a sad occasion.
The holy sacrifice of the mass has been offered for your intentions.
Barry’s first anniversary mass will take place at 12pm in Ballyphehane Church on Sunday, June 29th.
