Remembering the 1st Anniversary of my dear husband, Davy, A letter to Davy, my husband, my love of 60 years.

My dearest Davy, What can I say that will ease this broken heart?How do I live with this constant ache, this empty, endless loneliness? Please help me find the strength to get through this terrible pain, because life without you feels unbearable. My life is not the same without you in it. You were my life. I never truly knew what heartbreak was until the day you left me. You were funny and full of life, always making me laugh, Be and sometimes you made me cry but never once did we stop loving each other. We met at the age of 12. We were only kids, but somehow we knew this love was forever. We had our little break-ups along the way, but even through those times, we knew we couldn’t live without one another. I will never forget your kindness — to me, to our children, and to our grandchildren. They never wanted for anything, because your love surrounded us all. Thank you, Davy, for your love, your care, and your devotion to me, to our kids, and to our precious grandchildren.
