As we lovingly remember Delia on her first anniversary her husband Declan, children John-William, Jennifer and Declan Jnr, their partners and grandchildren would like to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to everyone who sympathised with us on our heartbreaking loss.

We offer heartfelt thanks to the many relatives, friends, neighbours and sympathisers who travelled near and far to attend the funeral home, mass and burial. Thank you to everyone who sent mass card, phone calls, texts, posts on RIP.ie, provided food and called to our home.

Thank you to the doctors and staff at the Haven Medical Centre and Bantry Hospital. Sincere thanks to Fr. Martin Sheehan and Fr. Padraig Kennelly for a beautiful funeral mass. Thank you to Delia’s colleagues and friends at Castletownbere Community Hospital, large fishing community, crew and staff of RNLI and all those who stood along the path on our way to lay Delia to rest. Thanks to Harrington Funeral Directors and O’Donoghues for their professional help.

Thanks to all the staff at Berehaven Golf Club for looking after us after the funeral. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation.

Delia’s first anniversary mass will be held on Saturday 26th of October at 6.30pm at the Sacred Heart Church, Castletownbere.
