Acknowledgement and First Anniversary, (Died September 30th 2020)

As we lovingly remember Denis on his first anniversary, his daughter Lui, sons Brian and Den Joe, son-in-law Anthony, daughter-in-law Carmel and grandsons, Kevin, Donnacha, Éamonn, Timothy, Conor, Denis and Fintan, together with his brother and sisters wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us, to those who travelled to be with us, to our great neighbours and wonderful friends  who were so supportive, to those who brought refreshments, to all who helped in so many different ways, we extend our gratitude.

Covid placed many constraints on how we could celebrate Dad’s life but we were greatly touched by all who stood outside our home, the church, lined the roadside and met us when we arrived at the cemetery. To those who called, telephoned, sent text messages, sent Mass cards, enrolments, letters of sympathy, RIP.ie condolences and floral tributes we extend our sincere thanks.

Our thanks to Dr. Tom Dennehy and Anita, to Dad’s home helps for their wonderful care, support and friendship to him and to us, to the staff of St. Bridget’s in Bons Secours Hospital who cared for Dad in his final days. Thanks to Fr. Pyburn, who celebrated the Funeral mass, to Fr. J. Horgan and Fr. Thorton for their support and prayers. Special thanks to Julieann Fitzpatrick for her beautiful music at the Mass. Thanks also to Mary Beamish-sacristan, the gravediggers and special thanks to Pat, David & Ann Daly- undertakers for their professional approach, their help and guidance.

It is difficult to thank everyone individually so, we will remember all of you at a celebration of Mass for your intentions.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam

Deep are the memories
Precious they stay
No passing of time
Can take them away
We miss you Dad, everyday
