Dinny’s wife Sarah, daughters Mary Theresa and Margaret, sons Paraic, Sean, Francis, Donnacha and Oliver along with our families, wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy, and gestures of kindness shown to us following our recent sudden loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to our many friends, neighbours, relatives, work colleagues, well-wishers, those who attended the funeral home, removal, funeral Mass and burial, and those who visited our home. We truly appreciate all the phone calls, texts, Mass cards, sympathy cards, floral tributes, the donations made to Embrace, the online condolences and those who travelled long distances to support us.

A special word of thanks to Fr. Brian Griffin, Dr. Maeve Carroll, Borris-in-Ossory, the Ambulance Service and An Garda Síochána who attended to Dinny on the morning.

We wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to Rev. Fr. Brian Griffin P.P. Camross for celebrating the Funeral Mass, concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Joe Brophy P.P. Mountrath, and Rev. Fr. Robert Fletcher P.P, New Inn & Knockgraffon, to all those who participated in the Mass and funeral, to Patsy Ryan the Sacristan, Catherine Scott for the live streaming of the funeral Mass, and Martin Delaney for the lovely music and to Geraldine Moore for reciting the Rosary in the funeral home. We would also like to show our appreciation to the Camross G.A.A. and Camogie clubs for their Guard of Honour.

Sincere thanks to Joe and Tadhg for the dignified manner in which they carried out Dinny’s funeral, to the gravediggers for preparing Dinny’s final resting place and also to our family, neighbours and friends who left in food and refreshments both in Camross and Mountrath.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our appreciation, a Mass has been offered for your intentions.

Dinny’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 24th February 2023

at 7.30 p.m.in St. Fergal’s Church, Camross.
