Denis’ wife Adrienne, his children Shane and Lorraine wish to extend their heartfelt thanks for all the kind expressions of condolence and the exceptional support they received following Denis’ death and throughout the funeral.
We thank most sincerely all who sympathised with us on the loss of our beloved Denis, those who attended the funeral Mass and burial, all who travelled long distances to be with us, and those who called to our home. The shared memories from all of you at his wake and funeral along with the many phone calls, flowers, cards and words of condolence meant a great deal to us all.
Our thanks to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for celebrating the funeral Mass and to Michael Flood and Trish Kavanagh for the wonderful music.
We will never forget the kindness of our friends, staff and volunteers, of the Arklow Cancer Support Group, Denis was so proud of you all.
A special word of thanks to all the staff at Wicklow Hospice for the exceptional care given to Denis. We are eternally grateful to Denis’ many wonderful friends for all their support during this difficult time and the Arklow Fire Brigade crew, past & present who formed the guard of honour.
Thank you to Hudson Funeral Directors, for their kindness & the Management & staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality.
To our very kind family, friends, neighbours and everyone who reached out to us during our time of mourning we are grateful for your continued support and love during our time of need. Denis Kenny will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Due to the amount of support we received it would be impossible to thank everyone individually. We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.
