Acknowledgement & First Anniversary
23rd July, 2023
With love Denis/Dad on your 1st Anniversary.
We take your love with us into each new day and year, knowing that you will still play a part in our lives just as you've always done,
So deeply loved and missed everyday Lorr, Daisy and Ethan XXX
As we lovingly remember Denis on his first anniversary, Myself, Daisy and Ethan would like to thank each and every one of you who reached out to us on the very sad passing of our much loved husband and dad.
To say we were overwhelm with the support we received and have continued to receive is an understatement and we will be forever grateful.
Our heartfelt thanks to both our families, our friends, our neighbours ,Denis's work colleagues, our local St Vincent De Paul and to the people of Carrigtwohill, you would be hard pushed to find a better community anywhere else.
We thank everyone who called to our house, attended the Wake, Rosary, Funeral mass and Cremation, those who sent mass cards, letters, flowers and for all those beautiful messages and words of sympathy for us and about Denis on RIP.ie
We thank all those who helped cater for everyone, especially my friends who literally took over and made those first few hours and days that much easier for us, to those who brought food, refreshments, offers of accommodation and those who stewarded at the church.
A special word of thanks to the paramedics, Dr Doran and our neighbours who attended to Denis that morning. To Fr Winkle for a beautiful service and to John the Soloist.
To Hydes Funeral Home especially Anthony for the way he looked after Denis for us, and the compassion and kindness he showed whilst dealing with myself and the children during what was a very difficult time for us.
And to those who helped in anyway your contribution made our loss that little bit more bearable. Whilst we cannot thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
Lorraine, Daisy & Ethan
