Denis’ wife Gertie, daughters Nicole & Ciara & all our family would like to express our most sincere thanks for the kindness, sympathy & support we received at the time of Denis’ sad passing & throughout the time since.
Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, attended Denis’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards, flowers & kind messages of condolence, those who travelled long distances & those who couldn’t be present but joined us via live-stream.
Our heartfelt thanks to Fr. David Brough for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass, to the sacristy team at St. Patrick’s Church & to Liam Kinsella, John Nolan & Denis’ dear niece Leslie Dowdall for such fabulous music.
A special thank you to family & friends who participated in the liturgy of the Mass & to Denis’ dear friend Henry Noonan for his lovely tribute.
Many thanks to the management & staff of Grant’s Pharmacy, Arklow for their kindness & help.
To our own extended families, our colleagues, neighbours & friends, your continued comfort & support will never be forgotten.
To Denis’ many friends from the motoring world, both contemporary & vintage, we thank you for your many displays of affection & respect.
Thanks also to the management & staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality after the funeral, to Tom Bergin for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
