The family of the late Denise Marron would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the kindness, sympathy and support we received during our recent sad bereavement.
We wish to express our thanks and appreciation to our many friends, neighbours, relatives and well-wishers who travelled from near and far to attend her wake, funeral Mass and burial and to those who sent Mass and Sympathy Cards, posted condolences online, wrote letters, sent texts and those who watched Denise’s funeral Mass online. Thanks also to those who made charitable donations to Carrickmacross Cancer Society.
A special word of thanks to Dr. Miriam Clarke and Dr. Frances Kelly, before her, and all the staff and nurses in Cloughvalley GP Practice, to Professor Peter O’Gorman and his staff and the nursing staff in the Mater Private Hospital who were all so kind and attentive to Denise over the course of her treatment. Thanks also to the caring staff of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, who were so caring and kind to her and to all our family during her short stay there.
Special thanks to Padraig and Catriona Lonergan for their exceptionally professional and sensitive handling of all the arrangements.
Sincere thanks to Monsignor Shane McCaughey, Fr Michael Scott and Fr. Gerry White for the beautiful mass and funeral service and especially to Monsignor Shane for his wonderful eulogy in which he captured so well the special and important features of Denise’s personality and her beautiful life. Thanks to Pat Cotter and choir, Lorraine Keenan, Brioni Gallagher, the violinist and the organist for the really beautiful and uplifting singing and music during the service.
Thanks to the management and staff of the Shirley Arms who provided food and refreshments for the family over the course of the reposal and for the excellent food and service during the funeral lunch.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere and genuine appreciation, gratitude and thanks.
Denise’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 14 October, at 11.00 am in St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross.
