 Dermot Gaule

Arklow, Wicklow

Dermot’s sisters Elizabeth & Mary, his brother Patrick & all his family would like to express their most sincere gratitude for the support shown to them throughout the loss of a much-loved brother, uncle & friend.

Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home to pay their respects, to those who attended Dermot’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, those who sent Mass cards, letters & texts, those who conveyed warm wishes & fond memories online & all those who couldn’t be present but joined us in celebrating Dermot’s life via the church webcam. Thank you also to those who donated generously to Arklow Cancer Support Group in Dermot’s Memory;

Sincere thanks to the management & staff of Blainroe Lodge Nursing Home for their wonderful care throughout Dermot’s many years with them. Thanks also to Dr Alan King & all the doctors, nurses & staff of Sheeran Purcell General Practice & to the kind & helpful staff of Stack’s Pharmacy.

Very special thanks to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for your guidance & support & for celebrating such a lovely funeral Mass & to Michael Flood & Patricia Kavanagh for such fabulous music.

A special thank you to the management & staff at An Post, Arklow for your beautiful tribute to a fellow postman.

To Dermot’s dearest friend Sharon, we thank you for so many years of devotion & friendship to Dermot. Despite all the hardships, you never forgot him.

Thank you to the management & staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality after the funeral, to Jason & Tom for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
