Dermot Healy, Castlegar, Kilcolgan, and late of Oranmore, Galway, Ballyloughane Road, Galway and Abbeyfeale Co.Limerick who passed away on 17th May 2021
The family of Dermot Healy would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who helped any way after our recent heartbreaking loss.
We sincerely thank those who phoned, sent messages, letters, cards and called to give their condolences. We would like to thank those who sent condolences on RIP.ie, we were proud to see how many lives he had touched.
A special thank you to Dermot’s neighbours who rallied around us and performed a guard of honour for his final trip to Clarenbridge Church. To all the staff, past and present of Flynn’s of Lackagh, for your guard of honour, thank you. To all of Dermot’s friends, in Galway and elsewhere, your messages buoyed us up when we needed it, thank you.
And to our extended families and friends who supported and continue to support us in our grief- we are eternally grateful.
To Dr Martina Brennan and all in Oran medical centre, thank you for your attentive care over the years. To Mr Eamonn Rogers, words cannot express our gratitude to you for many years of excellent care. To Ms. Catherine Dowling and her team, the ICU in UHG, for making his final days and hours as comfortable as you could, we are indebted. And to Clarenbridge pharmacy, thank you.
To Fr. Barry Horan, we are eteranlly grateful for the time and energy you gave in helping us plan the funeral and for the beautiful send off you gave dad in church. And to Frank Kearney, and the staff in Shannon Crematorium, heartfelt thanks.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
