Acknowledgement for the late Diane Jacob late of Laurel Park, Cherrymount, formerly of St. John's Park who passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the Kilbarry Care Home, Waterford on the 1st of February 2024.

Her daughter’s Noelle and Danielle would like to offer heartfelt and sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them and supported them greatly during the time of her illness.

To Colin, Maria, Christine and Annette, we think of you all every day, you all were an incredible support to us during a very difficult time. Thank you for sitting with us and Mam in her final months.  We think fondly of the stories and the laughs that we shared.  We know that Mam enjoyed the special time we all shared together.  

Thank you to our friends and neighbours, who travelled long distances, left condolences ,who helped us in various ways at such a difficult and sad time, your kindness will never be forgotten.

We thank those who cared for mam, particularly in the last months of her life – A special acknowledgment to the devoted staff in Kilbarry Care Nursing Home, Waterford, you all truly were a light in the middle of our darkness.  Your loving care and kindness that you had shown to our mother shall never be forgotten.   

Our sincere thanks and gratitude are extended to the Palliative care team for the care, dignity and respect given to Mam.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the team in Thompsons Funeral Directors who cared for Mam with the upmost compassion and respect in her final journey.  A special thanks to Martena for your guidance and support, it was greatly appreciated.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that you will accept this acknowledgment as a token of our gratitude.

Diane will be forever missed by her daughters Noelle, Danielle and Nuala, grandsons Evan, Liam, Dáire and Daniel, sons-in-law John Paul and Alan, Mother Bridie, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
