The family of the late Dinny Cassin wish to expresss their gratitude to all those who attended the reposal and rosary at his home, members of the John Lockes Club who helped with traffic management and lighting at the reposal, those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers and condolences on RIP.ie, those who travelled long distances, family, friends and neighbours, those who dropped in food and followed the funeral service on the webcam.

A special thank you to Dr Cotter and the staff of Ward 7, St Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny, Dr Donnacha O Brien, Beaumont Hospital, Dr Naidoo and Dr Elbaltagi, Nurse Lisa and all the staff of the day oncology unit Beaumont Hospital as well as the very kind staff in St Luke's, Rathgar.

A sincere thank you to Dr Ryan and the staff at Callan Medical Centre, Madigans Chemist, Callan Public Health Nurses, the local home help team, the Carlow/Kilkenny Homecare Team and The Irish Cancer Society Night Nurse.

A special word of thanks to Pat Murphy and Tommy Dermody of Molloys Funeral Directors for their professionalism and guidance at our most difficult time. Thank you to Fr Peter Muldowney for his visits and to Fr Dalton for attending the reposal, and to the kind and caring staff of The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork.

Dinny's First Anniversary Mass takes place on Saturday, November 12th, at 6pm in the Church of the Assumption, Callan.
