Donal’s sons Damian & Paul, daughter Lorraine & our extended family wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who offered sympathy, condolences & support during our recent sad loss.
To those of you who were in a position to call & pay your respects, at a social distance, we thank you. Our heartfelt thanks also to the many family & friends who could not be present but joined in the celebration of Dad’s funeral Mass via livestream, sent Mass cards, letters, texts & emails, wrote beautiful online tributes & to those of you who continue to keep Dad & all our family in your thoughts & prayers.
To our neighbours & lifelong friends who stood out to honour Dad’s final journey, your support & kindness will never be forgotten.
Our sincere thanks to the staff at Arklow Medical Practice, in particular, Dr.’s Ian Bothwell, June Coates & Larry Flynn & all the team there for their care down through the years. A special mention to Dr.’s Rory Kennelly, Sarah McLean & the wonderful nurses & staff of the Hazel Ward at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital & those of St. Vincent’s I.C.U.
Thanks also to Fr Brian McKittrick for his prayers, guidance & lovely funeral mass & to Bridget Kenny & our kind & talented friend Naoimh Penston for their beautiful music.
Thanks also to Jason Porter for tending to the grave & to Niamh & Ned & all at John Sweeney Funeral Directors for their kind & professional service.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Dad’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 21st February at 10am in St. Joseph’s Church, Templerainey & all are welcome to join via the church webcam
