As we lovingly remember Donal on his First Anniversary, sons Don, John and Anthony, daughters Janice and Michelle, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, extended family and friends wish to express our deepest gratitude to all who sympathised with us and supported us on our sad loss during this challenging time.

To all the family members that have supported us before and after Dad’s passing, please know we are extremely grateful for all you have done. Our utmost thanks to all those who have sent mass cards and for the many messages of condolence online. A special word of thanks to Fr. Aidan for the lovely Funeral Mass and the Male Voice Choir for their singing. Dr. Catherine O’Sullivan and her team in the Mercy Hospital for their exceptional care of Dad. The staff of St. Joseph’s Ward for all they did for Dad in his final weeks. To the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Mary’s Health Campus for the constant support.

We would like to acknowledge O’Connor’s Funeral Home for their kind and professional service. We would like to thank Dad’s neighbours and friends who lined the roadside as Dad made his final journey to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, we were truly touched. As it is impossible to thank everybody, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
