Drew’s wife Margaret, daughters Suzanne, Brenda & Joy, his son Andrew & all of his extended family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks for the huge outpouring of condolences & support shown to them at the time of Drew’s sad passing.
To those who were in a position to come & pay your respects & to those who kept us in your thoughts & prayers, to all who joined in the celebration of Drew’s funeral Mass via the parish webcam, to all who sent Mass cards & kind & comforting messages online & to all who donated generously to the Arklow Cancer Support Group in Drew’s memory, we thank you.
Special thanks to Siobhan and Mary from the Palliative Care team, Dr Walsh, Avril and Caitriona, Dr Tony Bentley & his team at Bradshaw’s Lane Surgery, PHN Claire & to the doctors, nurses & staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital for their great care over the past sixteen months. Thank you also to the staff of First Choice Pharmacy for all their assistance.
Our sincere thanks to Fr David Brough for his much valued friendship & for celebrating such a lovely funeral Mass & to Karla Treacy for her beautiful singing.
We would like to extend special gratitude to our own extended families, colleagues & friends & to our wonderful neighbours in Marian Villas. Your continued kindness & support will never be forgotten.
Thanks also to Bill & Joe from RSS for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
It would be impossible to thank everybody individually, but there are a few people we would like to thank especially, the Doyle family in Marian Villas, Alan, Catriona & family, Mary, Andrew, Valerie and Claire O’ Reilly & the Nick’s lads, especially Keg, Paul & Eoin. We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by everyone else as a token of our sincere appreciation. Drew’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated via the Arklow Parish Webcam on Sunday 31st May at 8.30am.
