We as a family of the late Eamonn Fox wish to express our sincere appreciation on the many expressions of sympathy and kindness shown to us following Eamonn's death.
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who called to the funeral home and all those who attended Eamonn’s funeral mass especially those who travelled long distances. Sincere gratitude to those who sent flowers, Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, text messages, phone calls and those who posted condolences on RIP.ie. We were touched by the many kind words, stories and memories of Eamonn that were shared during those days and since, all of which have given us much comfort.
A special thank you to Monsignor Shane McCaughy P.P. for celebrating Eamonn’s funeral mass and for capturing his true essence as a person.Thank you to the Sacristan, coffin bearers and to Brendan McCahey for the beautiful singing and music during the funeral mass. Thank you to those who stood at points along the funeral route and for the grave diggers who prepared Eamonn’s resting place in an exceptional and thoughtful way.
A sincere thank you to the medical and nursing staff of Newgrange 1 Ward Drogheda Hospital for their care ,professionalism and compassion shown to Eamonn during the last week of his life. Thank you also to the nursing and medical staff of Carrickmacross Group GP Practice especially Dr Shona McCarthy and Dr Miriam Clarke who looked after Eamonn’s medical needs over the years.
A special thank you to Anthony ,Mary Frances and Majella who were so good to Eamonn in his latter years.
Thank you to the management and staff of the Shirley Arms Hotel Carrickmacross for providing an excellent meal after the funeral. We would most sincerely like to thank Lonergan Funeral Directors Catriona, Padraig and Seamus for carrying out their duties with such respect, dignity and professionalism.
As it’s impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our grateful appreciation.The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions .
Eamonn’s month memory Mass will be celebrated in St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Carrickmacross on Sunday, 31st July 2022, at 12 midday .
