The family of the late Eamonn Lawlor, Blackbush Avenue, Bryanstown, Drogheda, who passed away peacefully, after a cycling accident, on October 6th, 2022, would like to offer our sincere thanks and appreciation for the many expressions of sympathy and gestures shown to us on our great loss. We greatly appreciate the phone calls, messages, letters, flowers, and condolences on RIP.ie and social media.
Our sincere thanks to the paramedics, doctors, nurses, Emergency Room, H.D.U and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital staff, family, friends, cyclists, neighbours, those who travelled long distances, called to the house, attended the wake, removal, celebration of life, cremation and burial.
We would also like to thank Townley’s Funeral Directors for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements, the wonderful celebrant, Gareth Matthews, Dardistown Crematorium, Superintendent Andrew Watters and Drogheda Garda Station, serving and retired members of An Garda Siochana, as well as Drogheda Wheelers Cycling Club and all the members of other cycling clubs from around the country who formed the guard of honour.
To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
Eamonn will be deeply and sadly missed and will always be remembered.
