Eddie’s parents, Stephen and Oonagh, Sister Emma and brother Matthew wish to express their most heartfelt thanks for the kindness and support shown to them during and since Eddie's funeral and in the days since. The family were particularly moved by the solidarity expressed by all the local people who lined the pavements as the cortege went by.

While the restrictions of the time limited the opportunity for many people to pay their respects in person, Stephen, Oonagh, Emma and Matthew are most grateful for the lovely cards, letters, text, Instagram and other online messages received. Sincere thanks also to all those who joined in the online service for the celebration of Eddies life in Mount Jerome.

A special word of thanks to the celebrant, Padraic Cawley, who supported us so sensitively in the preparation and delivery of the service.  The contributions of the singer, Eoin Hayes and the pianist, Maria, to the service are immeasurable.

Thanks also to all at Mark Kinsella Funeral Directors for their professional and kind support.

To the extended families, neighbours, friends and colleagues, your support, kindness, companionship,and friendship are much appreciated, and will never be forgotten.
