The wife Marie and family of the late Eddie O'Donoghue, Shanagarry, Co. Cork who died on the 15th of August 2021 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to all family members, friends, neighbours who visited our home and attended the funeral services and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, sent flowers, cards and messages of condolence, we are truly grateful.
A special word of thanks to Eddie's Gp Dr. Sean McCarthy Ballycotton who took great care of him down through the years. Special thanks to his carers Mary and Irene. The staff at Oaklodge Nursing Home, Cloyne who looked after Eddie in the short time he spent there. To the doctors, nurses and staff of the Mercy University Hospital especially Dr. Gemma Browne for the excellent care given to Eddie.
A sincere thank you to Fr. Pat Linehan for officiating at Eddie's funeral mass and burial in St. Coleman's Church and graveyard, Cloyne. Thank you to Martin Farrell and staff at Farrell's Funeral Home, Midleton for their professionalism, guidance and attention to detail during this tough time.
To those who helped in anyway, your contribution made our lost more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Eddie's 1st Anniversary Mass will be held on 14th August 2022 at 6.30pm in St. Coleman's Church, Cloyne, Co. Cork.
