Eddie’s son Nathan, brother John, sister Marie & all his extended family wish to express our heartfelt thanks for the many kind expressions of sympathy & support we received throughout our recent sad loss.

Many thanks to family & friends who came to pay your respects, & to those of you who could not visit but kept us in your thoughts & prayers, to all who joined in the celebration of Eddie’s funeral Mass via the parish webcam & to all who sent Mass cards, floral tributes & online messages of condolence.

To our own extended families & to our neighbours & lifelong friends, your consideration, kindness, support & friendship will never be forgotten.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Arklow Gardaí, to Dr Siobhan McCabe & to our dear friend Michael Fitzgerald for all their kindness & assistance.

Our sincere thanks to Fr David Brough for his prayers & guidance & for celebrating Eddie’s life & to Michael Flood & Rosarie Kinsella whose music brought such beauty to his funeral Mass. Thank you to John Earls for his lovely graveside lament & to Arklow Town Football Club for their respectful Guard of Honour.

Thank you also to Joe & the team from RSS for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.

As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Eddie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 25th October at 11.30am in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church & you are welcome to join via the Arklow Parish Webcam.
