Patricia, Eddie, Michael, Liam and family of the late Ned Conlon who died peacefully at his son’s residence on 4th January 2021 would like to thank all who sympathised with us at that time.
Due to Covid restrictions many relatives, friends and neighbours were unable to attend the funeral, but we were aware you were with us in spirit, thank you to those at home and abroad who watched the funeral Mass online and to those who came to the church yard.
We thank you sincerely for the floral tributes, Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of condolences, telephone calls and most of all for the overwhelming support at the time and since daddy’s passing.
A special thank you to Fr. Frank Drescher for his lovely Mass and homily, also to Elizabeth Woods for her beautiful music and hymns and to the St. Brigid’s Church sacristan.
We are incredibly grateful to Robbie and Ian of Cunningham Funeral Directors for their very professional service.
We would like to express our gratitude to daddy’s GP Dr. Robert Nelson, District Nurse Siobhan Kelly, Nurse Marie Hoey, Bluebird Care, Ann’s Homecare in particular Joyce and Denise.
It is the intention of the family to have a memorial Mass for daddy when it is safe to do so and join with family, relatives, friends and neighbours to celebrate his life.
Tuesday 13th April would have been daddy’s 95th birthday so he will be especially in our thoughts today.
