Eileen’s daughters Fiona, Deirdre, Niamh and all our family wish to express our most sincere thanks to everyone who offered condolences and support throughout Mammy’s funeral and during the time since.
Thank you to all those who visited our home, attended Mammy’s removal, funeral Mass and burial, sent Mass cards, letters and floral tributes, those who travelled long distances to be with us and say your goodbyes and to all those who phoned, wrote or shared kind messages online.
Thank you to Dr. Buggle, Dr McCabe, Dr Doyle and all the team at Sheltonville Surgery for their care and assistance over the past few years and to the kind and helpful staff of Adrian Dunne Pharmacy.
Special thanks to Fr. David Brough for his comforting prayers and for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass and to Michael Flood and Trish Kavanagh for such lovely music.
Thank you to Arklow Town Football Club for their beautiful tribute and to Ray Finn for his wonderful graveside lament.
To our extended families, our colleagues, neighbours and lifelong friends, the consideration, generosity and kindness you have shown is much appreciated and your continued support as we grieve the loss of our wonderful Mammy will never be forgotten.
Thanks also to the Bridge Hotel, The Old Ship and Delightfully Delicious for their hospitality and generosity, to the management and staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel, to Mary Gregan, to Joe and Tom from R.S.S. for tending to the grave and to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Mammy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 7th October, at 6.30pm in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church and those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the Arklow Parish Webcam
