The family of the late Eileen Conway, formerly Greenshill, Kilkenny, who passed away peacefully on 10 November 2021 would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on the loss of our wonderful mother.
Eileen’s daughters Cliona and Helen and her sons Kieran and Ronan, greatly appreciate the phone calls, messages, Mass cards, letters, flowers as well as the condolences on RIP.ie. It was very especially comforting to the family to hear from so many of her friends in the Liberal Studies Group. Being part of the group meant so much to Eileen.
A special word of thanks to Fr Jim Murphy for the lovely funeral service and Sean O’Neill and Claire Walsh for the beautiful music. Thank you to all those who attended the Mass and burial and to those who couldn’t be present but joined us via webcam.
The family extend heartfelt thanks to Ann and Phil at Drakelands Nursing Home and to all the wonderful staff of the Linden wing. We are forever grateful to them for the way they looked after our mother with such care, respect and kindness.
Thanks to Johnstons’ funeral directors, especially Shane, for his sensitive and professional handling of arrangements at this difficult time for the family.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation.
Our vibrant and lovely mother will be deeply and sadly missed and will always be remembered.
The Month's Mind Mass for Eileen will take place on Friday 10th December at 9.15 am at St. Canice’s Church, Kilkenny.
