 Elizabeth (Bella) Jones
(née Meegan)

Inniskeen, Monaghan / Inniskeen, Louth

We the family of the late Bella Jones would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on the death of our beloved mother, grandmother and sister. Thank you to our extended family, many friends, neighbours and all who called to the family home. We thank everyone who attended the wake and funeral, those who gave Mass cards, messages of sympathy, wreaths or posted condolences online and particularly those who helped in any way during the wake and funeral.

Thanks to the medical professionals, her Doctors and staff at Square Medical Centre, Dundalk, Public health nurses and the Palliative care nurses for their care, kindness and compassion. We also thank all our wonderful carers who helped us to keep her at home during her illness.

We would also like to thank Canon Martin Treanor P.P. for attending to Bella during her long illness. A very special thank you to Father Brian MacRaois and Father Malachy  Conlon for concelebrating  her funeral Mass and to Kathleen Moore, Terry Rafferty and Mel Jones for the beautiful singing and music and to all those who participated in Bella’s funeral Mass. We would like to thank members of the Inniskeen community for providing a Guard of honour. Many thanks to McEntees for their catering and Inniskeen Community Centre for the use of their hall.

We are forever grateful to Micheal Magee and the entire team from Magee Funeral Directors, for their support and respect during the wake and funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation and thanks. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Bella’s month’s mind Mass will be celebrated at 8pm on Friday 7th February 2025 in Mary Mother of Mercy Church, Inniskeen.
